Pizza and Tagging

One of the things we haven’t been very good at is tagging items in the collection. Good tags makes it easier to search, but we can’t because there are so few tags. So we invited friends on our email list to come by and help – we bribed them with the promise of pizza! We delivered on the pizza, and they delivered on the tags, getting dozens of games tagged with genres. Although we started with a suggested genres list, it was interesting to see how the tags developed. Many games didn’t fit into the suggested genres, and the same new genre tags arose with each group spontaneously. Gamers are the ones who know these things! Our taggers ranged in age from 12 to 60+. Good pizza, good stories, good conversations. Join us next time!
