Like many large companies in the area, Google gives its employees time off to do community service. This year we were pleased to be part of GoogleServe, their annual community service day, and ten Googlers came to help learn how to accession items into the collection. The volunteers accessioned our Fairchild games plus numerous big box games, including some Infocom gray box games. It was an afternoon of discovery and got a lot of our back-log caught up – see some of the activity. But museums never catch up with accessioning, so there’s still plenty left to be done. Maybe next year . . .
